Session by Alumni

Today, Dept. Of Psychology in collaboration with alumni committee* organised a session for BA & MA Psychology students. Session was held by Ms. Navya Mishra (Alumna- BA Batch 2017-20) on the topic of MPhil clinical Psychology aimed to provide students with insights into the field of clinical Psychology, its application and role of Professionals in promoting mental health. Students were enthusiastic while asking question.

Navratri & Dandiya Utsav

The celebration started by offering prayers to Goddess Navdurga followed by mesmerizing traditional dance performance by College divas. The event was well attended enthusiastically by Alumni of Pass-out batches, students. Students celebrated the day with joy & cheer.

SHRAVANI -Sawan Utsav

The celebration started with the lighting of the lamp followed by melodious Kajri – Sawan song & dance performances dedicated to the divine power of lord shiva. The Start-up Carnival was inaugurated where students organized various Indian, South Indian, Western food stalls, handmade Rakhi & accessories stalls. To make the celebration more exciting mehendi competitions was also organized.  Various games stall added favour in the celebration.



CONFLUENTIA ’23(Alumni Meet)

The Alumni Committee organized CONFLUENTIA ’23- First Alumni Meet. The main objective was to get together to reminisce old times memories of days gone by with old batchmates. Students presented special Holi dance which at the end was joined by all alumni. Ms. Vaishali Srivastava the President of Alumni Association also addressed the gathering & appreciated the infrastructural development in the College.




The college conducted Students Induction Programme for the batch 2022 to welcome the newly joined Students. Students were introduced to Sunbeam BODs, Academic Performance, Co-curricular Activities organized by the College.

Alumni Ms.Nikita Lalwani (BBA batch 2018-21) & Ms. Pankhuri Agarwal (Batch 2019-22) also joined the programme &  shared their three years of golden experience.

SHRAVANI -Sawan Utsav 2022

The College auditorium was filled with joy & happiness as students with Alumni from all batches celebrated SHRAVANI – Sawan Utsav with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration started with the lighting of the lamp followed by melodious Kajri – Sawan song  & dance performances dedicated to the divine power of Lord Shiva.




To celebrate the International Women’s Day ,the Sports Committee organised Just for Fun & Sports Events .The Event was witnessed by Ms. Neelu Mishra National Sprinter  represented India in Master Athletics. Students enthusiastically participated in sports and fun activities.

On the Seven Days Special Camp NSS unit organized a Yoga Session moderated by Ms. Kirti Srivastava Alumna batch (2017-20). She explained the correct body postures while doing Yoga and benefits of yoga in daily life.

The Alumni Committee organised a motivational session on topic “Getting Success in University Examination” moderated by Ms. Devika Upadhyaya (batch 2018-21), University topper & Gold medalist 2022.



Academic Head Dr. Manisha Singh briefed the students about the academic curricular, NEP. The cultural activities & achievements of the college was briefed by Activity In-Charge.

 Our Alumni Ms. Vaishali ( Batch 2016-19) & Ms. Mansi Pathak (batch 2019-21) added spark in the programme as they shared their three years of beautiful journey at SWCV.




“Journey of a thousand miles begins with one step” -A unique initiative was undertaken by students Council as Sunbeam Women’s College Varuna today completed five years of its inception since 2016. With aim of “Ready to Lead Leaders” for the society, the college proudly marches ahead in next years of excellence.
