Age Eligibility
  • Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 1st July of the year of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit for admission to undergraduate programmes at Sunbeam Women's College Varuna.
  • Age proof documents (10th Marksheet / Birth Certificate) must be submitted at the time of admission.
Admission Procedure for 1st Year to 2nd Year
  • An Application Form has to be taken either Online/Offline for admission.
  • The admissions for all the students, other than CBSE/ICSE will be decided on the cumulative performance of the students in the Aptitude Test.
  • The general attitude, discipline, performance in previous classes, and regularity in school will also be considered.
  • Candidates appearing for the interview and exam should try to find previous school uniform (Class 7 upwards) and be accompanied by their parents.
  • It is compulsory for the students to appear for an interview with the Management along with their Parents.
  • If the students fail to meet the required criteria for Admission in the Entrance Exam, their admission will be confirmed.
  • Admission is subject to the discretion of the Management.
  • The seat gets automatically cancelled if admission is not taken within 7 days of the result declaration.
  • Once the Admission is granted, the final admission form has to be filled out at the fee counter and the fees have to be deposited.
Documents Required for Admission
  • Duly filled Application Form.
  • Attested photocopies of 10th & 12th Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from last attended school/college.
  • Character Certificate from last attended institution.
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable — SC/ST/OBC).
  • Aadhar Card copy of student and parents.
  • 4 recent passport-size photographs.
  • Migration Certificate (for students from outside the university).
Scholarship & Financial Aid
  • Students with 90% or above in qualifying examination are eligible for merit scholarship.
  • Government scholarships (UP Scholarship) are available for SC/ST/OBC/Minority students.
  • Students must apply for scholarships within 30 days of admission through the college portal.
  • Scholarship amounts will be directly credited to the student's bank account.
Hostel & Accommodation
  • Hostel facility is available for outstation students on request basis.
  • Hostel allotment is subject to availability and is granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Separate hostel fee structure applies. Please enquire at the administrative office.
  • Students residing in the hostel must abide by the hostel rules and regulations.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Admission fee once paid is non-refundable.
  • Tuition fees may be refunded as per UGC refund policy (within specified deadlines).
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Principal's office.
  • Refund will be processed within 30 working days from the date of approved cancellation.
